Kerry entered real estate because of a love of people and a passion for property and has over the last twelve years, become one of the “premier” real estate agents on the North Coast.

Born and bred in Coffs Harbour, she has a natural enthusiasm for the area and first hand understanding of the local market and the people who live there. Kerry is extremely familiar with the local property market and has literally sold hundreds of units, homes and blocks of land during her career, and is equally comfortable selling properties at all price levels.

With a reputation of being somewhat of a “workaholic” on behalf of her clients, she is often found working until late in the evening ensuring her clients are provided with the highest level of service. Her secret to success is simple old fashioned hard work, honesty and integrity.

She is dedicated to a professional, smooth sales process that ensures the loyalty of her many satisfied clients. In fact, many of her clients are referred from previous clients.

Kerry believes that it is imperative to listen to the needs of her clients. “Buying or selling real estate is a team effort between agent, buyers and sellers and I like to take time to learn peoples’ needs and try to excede them.”

“It’s a big decision buying or selling a home, it isn’t what most people do all the time, but it’s something that we, as agents, do all the time. I am committed to making the process as stress free and transparent as possible. I try to help people with their options and explain the process thoroughly at what can be a traumatic time”.

Earning numerous awards both individually and as a director of Unrealestate over the years, including EAC awards for sales, Coffs Harbours’ Best New Business and Best Small Residential Agency in NSW for 2012, she has much to be proud of. However, her proudest achievement is the frequent feedback from her clients on her willingness to go the extra mile for her clients and comments that she “is not like all the other real estate agents.”

Giving back to the community is also one of Kerrys’ priorities. As well as being a previous Coffs Harbour City Councillor, current committee member of the Chamber of Commerce, Board Member of Cando, which raises funds for local cancer-sufferers to help to defray costs, as well as the Chair of the Ayrshire Park Committee. Somehow she also finds time for the Red Cross and Jetty Reference Group, doing her best to help shape a better future for the Coffs Coast.

Over the past two years, Kerry has worked closely with Sophie Collins, who specialises in working closely with buyers, and together, they present a formidable team in the sale of your home.

David’s real estate experience has extended over most of his working life, experience which has included commercial / industrial sales and leasing, investment property sales and management and for the greater part David has been heavily involved in rural and semi rural property sales, in both Sydney’s Hills District and since 1994, the environs around Coffs Harbour.

Now in his 41st year in real estate, he spent his early days at Parramatta’s Leonard Oades Real Estate, learning the basics as a trainee valuer and as assistant to senior commercial and industrial salespeople. In the seven years there he became qualified as an Associate of the Australian Institute of Valuers, gained Registration as a Valuer and became a licensed Real Estate and Stock and Station Agent.

David then moved into the corporate scene with Mirvac Ltd as its Commercial Leasing and Portfolio Manager; looking after the Company’s considerable Sydney, country and interstate properties. These included interstate residential flat buildings (Melbourne predominantly), Sydney based shopping centres and high rise apartments (High Street Markets, Travelodge) and short term accommodation buildings (Edgecliff Centre).

An opportunity to head the new Nationwide Realty Franchise Company, as General Manager became available. The Company was created by the collaboration of seven Directors controlling 19 offices spread throughout Sydney’s inner, northern and western suburbs. David and his team developed the operation systems of the Company for use by its members, coordinated its bulk advertising, conducted in house training and most importantly met regularly with member Principals to discuss ideas for improvement.

As the Company’s marketing head, David’s goals were to grow the membership, maintain adherence to the Company’s processes and deliver the required results to his Company’s Board. In the space of two years Nationwide Realty became the third largest franchise firm in Australia with 89 offices spread along the eastern seaboard of New South Wales and Queensland; such is David’s energy and ability to get results.

A change and opportunity to renew his love of real estate came about in late 1982 and in partnership with a close associate, Nationwide Realty, Parramatta was born. Over the ensuing years David as a salesperson received many Gold Sales Awards, based on achieving $100,000 commission income within six months, which in those days was a considerable level of sales income.

A resident of Coffs since 1994 with his wife Michelle and two sons, David has established an enviable reputation for honesty and straight forward dealing and much of his business is now resales for old clients.

David’s expertise and preference is Rural Sales. It’s his nature to provide only accurate property appraisals supported by regular communication. Over the years since relocating to Coffs Harbour, David has listed and sold hundreds of properties. As part of the award winning Unrealestate team, he knows the market and he gets results!

Sophie is one of the bright smiling faces our clients love to see at Unrealestate.
Sophie joined the Unrealestate team directly from high school, after a weeks’ “vocational experience” in Year 12. We were so impressed with her sparkling personality, her ability to build an immediate rapport with clients and her strong work ethics that we offered her a position to start with our company when she finished school. Fortunately for us, she took up the offer and started with us in January 2008.

She has worked in all facets of the business- as “director of first impressions”, in the property management department-responding to prospective tenant and landlord enquiries, processing tenants applications, updating landlords, conducting tenancy inspections, organising repairs and regular inspections, sales support-being the “go to girl” entering data, assisting the sales team, arranging photography, contracts, and is now purely in sales.

Now a successful sales person in her own right, Sophie works in a team with Kerry to achieve great results for sellers and buyers. Sophie is happiest working with our buyers to make the sales process a smooth and enjoyable one, advising buyers of upcoming and current listings, organising and performing inspections and responding to enquiries. Buying and selling your home can be a very stressful time for all involved, and Sophie takes a lot of that stress away by giving honest advice and feedback, and not being the stereotypical “pushy” salesperson. She is able to deal with many of the problems that can arise during the sales process through experience and nurtured relations with many of the professionals involved in the property industry such as pest and building inspectors, council, solicitors, financiers etc. She has a thorough knowledge of the real estate business from both a buying and selling perspective.

Although she has a professional attitude towards her work and realizes the importance of the transactions she is instrumental in, she has a friendly attitude to our clients, and understands that buying and selling is not something they do every day, and is able to fully explain the sales process and offer invaluable advice. A very rare asset for a twenty three year old.
Somehow she has also found time to study for her real estate licence, being only one subject off completion.
